In third world countries it is difficult to raise funds when you don't have all the appropriate documentation. Yet there is no less enterprising spirit there than in other more developed countries.There are epople who do not wish to live on charity, but to earn their money. They just need some capital to start off their own business ventures.

As I had posted on your fan mail, I like this article , not the information that it contains but the Idea that people are paying enough attention to micro-finance. Kiva or C4 actually work with other institutions on the ground, being a Mifo specialist in Rwanda gives us the opportunity to work with these people who are directly involved with the micro entrepreneurs and also we have had the chance to see many of these micro entrepreneurs and their success stories.
Thanks Shervy. I feel not many people are aware that they can do this. Many of us can afford to spend $25 on a charitable project, but don't know where to help.
