Are PTC Sites worth it?
80
There are a number of sites on the internet which pay you money for
nothing more strenuous than clicking on a link to view an ad. It has to
be the easiest supposed way to make money online. These are called PTC
sites or Paid To Click sites. Many people join these sites each month to
try and earn some extra cash online.
Personally I have never paid much attention to such claims made by sites and as a result have never got on to any of these *great* money making deals. I did snoop around on one site in question to do some research for this article but it was not a confidence building experience. My skepticism stems from two main facts.
First is the fact that I believe that to be
successful you need to put in some effort and here there is literally no
greater effort than clicking on a couple of ads to view them. I mean,
come on there has to be a catch here some where. Why would some guy just
pay you to watch an ad?
Second I do not think that the really minimal pay outs per click which are from $0.001 to $0.04 depending on the site are very worthwhile. It takes effort to sit through such a monotonous activity for the hours on end which would finally result in a pay out of two measly dollars?!!! I can sit for fifteen minutes and write an article which would pay me a minimum of five dollars.
However not everyone is gifted with the ability to write at will about topics that they may need to research about so I suppose this may be their way of making money online.
To be successful on these PTC sites you'll need a PayPal account and an AlertPay account and a lot of patience. It will also help if you manage to get some active referrals under you on each site as you get paid a minuscule percentage of what they click and earn as well.
There
are referral exchange forums where you can develop a long list of
active referrals without bothering your family and friends. Plus they
will be as driven as you to make money and will be as active as you.
Before you start clicking for a new PTC site run it through the scam list on search engines. Many sites open with a bang, operate for a week and then go out of commission taking the time, effort and money that you put into them into nothing.

Great, Thank you.
There are some that have been online and paying for some time. I prefer my sites that have been paying and will be paying for some time. As for time spent on them, I usually just have a tab open as I search and surf as usual so I don't think I'm wasting my time at all.
Hi and thanks for great article!
I think it is worth of time to be active on these sites. But the large number of these sites are scams and that's real problem. When you find site that actually pays and have forum with real testimonials you should focus on it. It's all about doing proper investments in referrals and after some time you can earn some adittional income.
I wrote review about site which is in my opinion the best and most secured out there. So if you are interested in ptc just go to

I think that some sites are ok, since I can post on forums and go about my normal online surfing and open the tab up once in a while and earn a few cents here and there. I own my own PTC site and have enjoyed the experience of being an admin. Thanks for your nice article. I my site is

Thank you for such a clear and honest warning. Would you write a hub about the site where to earn money on articles writing?
