7 Adult Board Games - not sexual but fun
81
First off let me clarify that the word adult in the hub title has got nothing to do with anything sexual. If you are looking for such games get off hubpages as their policies do not allow writers to write about such topics.
The adult board games are just games which are designed for a more mature and knowledgeable set of players. There is just more happening in the games and is suited to an older set of people.
That does not mean that these games are not fun. They can really set the mood for a party. Some are amazing ice breakers while others involve some group effort. Some help you show off your trivia intellect like Trivial Pursuit and others help you showcase your drawing skills like Pictionary.
All of them are fun when played in a group. Down in this hub are a set of a adult board games that can really get a party swinging. Take a look at which ones you have played and new ones that you may want to try out.
I've Never
This one is a good ice breaker at a party. As per the manufacturer this game challenges everyone with outrageous questions that will blow your mind.
The object of the game is simple, players move around the board answering highly personal and potentially defamatory questions, and take shots or drink beer while playing. There are all kinds of funny, silly and outrageous questions to be answered.
Smart Ass
Okay the name may not be its best description, but the game is a winner all the way. It is a fast paced, multi player trivia based games. And it creates plenty of noise as people compete with each other to be the first to yell out the right answer.
As per the manufacturers each Who, What, and Where Am I card has ten clues and the first player to yell out the correct answer moves one step closer to being the ultimate Smart Ass.And that would mean winner.
Loaded Questions - The Adult Version
In this adult board game personal rolls the dice and asks a funny personal question based on the category that he landed on. Each player writes down the answer. Now all the person who rolled the dice must guess who wrote which answer.
It asks all the immature, silly, and embarrassing questions everyone is dying to know but is definitely not suited to playing with children or family. Also after some time people start lying and going for funny answers so things can get a bit wild.
Scattergories
This has you thinking up a storm as you run through the alphabet. Players roll a die that has 20 sides, each one featuring a different letter. Now if you get the letter K you have to come up with something in all the 12 categories starting with the letter K before your three minutes run out.
You could get stuff like a sport, an ice cream flavor, or something in a pet shop for your categories. Thanks to the million different permutations and combinations no two games will ever be exactly alike. Try to think something creative and unique that the others won't guess as well. Double letters like 'Captain Crunch' will earn you double the points.
Boxers Or Briefs?
Can you predict the choices that your friend will make? What will your friends predict about you? Just how well do you know your fellow players. A lot will be revealed over the more than 2,000 unique and funny phrases for hours of off-the-wall humor and side-splitting fun!
The only trouble is you cant play it repeatedly with the same group of people. Still its a good game to start off with. It can be tame enough to let children or family join in and can easily be made wilder for a group of like minded friends.
The Game of Things
This party board game includes 300 hilarious topic cards that provoke even more hilarious responses. It takes about an hour to play a full round of the game. The topics you may have to answer include stuff like "Things you would like to ask a psychic" or "Things you shouldn't do with glue."
Once you have all the answers written down to a topic the reader will read out the answers. As the game progresses running jokes start to appear - previous answers that make little sense for the new question, but they make everyone laugh. The same people playing the game a second time will also come up with wackier answers.
Wits And Wagers
This is a fast paced game that can be played by 3 to 7 players. It involves a unique combination of trivia, gambling, and social interaction. There is good involvement as everyone must answer each question. The gambling aspect keeps it interesting and unlike serious trivia games this one can be easily played in mixed crowds.
As per the manufacturer players can win by making educated guesses or by having the guts to bet on the high-payout answers of their friends. Whether it's the dramatic "all-in" question or the thrill of winning more chips, Wits and Wagers makes any gathering a party!

I absolutely love board games...come from a long line of game players. It's a good way to bond with friends and family. Scattergories is one of my favorites. Thanks for reminding me...haven't played in a while.
I love Wits and Wagers. Board games are underrated if you ask me. Very nice Hub. If I were to add any to the list, I'd say Ticket to Ride.
Great hub! We also like to play games like apples2apples and Settlers of Catan.
